Events

BEST Lyon primarily is present in order to bring local and international opportunities to the students of INSA Lyon.

By organising various events, our students have the possibility of trying new experiences that they don't recieve from standard education.

Througout the year we organise various events where INSA students an profit.

Our events include:

Start Up Camp^TM 

• Did you always want to start your own Start Up?
• Do you have brilliant ideas but don't know how to execute them?
• Do you want to learn how to do a pitch, business plan, or a benchmark?

If you responded YES to one of these questions, subscribe by yourself or with a team to Start Up Camp !

Start Ups who have tried and have succeded will come to share their experiences and teach us about their world.

You can also benefit from coaching seminars and workshops présented by professional Buisiness Coaches.

Season Courses

Throughout the whole year BEST organises different activities where students of technology from member universities get the chance to complement their fields of study, discuss educational matters, learn and take their first steps into an international career, increase their international experience, set up contacts, improve their English level and have fun. Each BEST event is attended by 20-30 engineering and technology students like you, who have something in common: they want to live a unique experience, different from day-to-day school life!

EBEC

Engineering Competitions are events where teams of students use their technical, social and communication skills to fulfill a specific task or case. On these competitions and under specific conditions (time, situation, materials, etc), teams of students compete to provide the most optimised solution in terms of performance, cost and innovation. 

Motivational Weekends

Throughout the year we offer two motivational weekend for our members.

This way we have the chance to meet each other and really bond. These Motivational Weekends are different from other motivational weekends since we also have international guests who come to socialize and teach others the vision of BEST.

WCD

World Career Day is our international career forum where students and companies have the opportunity to exchange ideas.

Companies offer internships and jobs, and also help students understand the professional world by correcting CVs, Letters of Motivation and discussing other topics with them.

Weekend on Trainings

Weekend on Trainings is an event of 2 days long. During this weekend we give our members the opportunity to learn different skills that they do not have the chance to learn at our university.

Most of these skills are soft skills like Productivity, Negotiation, Time Management, Leadership and many others...
